FLEXY VISION family of Panel PCs: elegance, style & high graphic performance in multiple formats

Arezzo – September 24, 2021 – Today, SECO introduces six new members of its FLEXY VISION family, a series of high-resolution and cost-efficient Panel PCs, also known as Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), with various characteristics, dimensions, and operating systems.

SECO’s FLEXY VISION portfolio now has seven HMI monitors in various formats. The six new monitors feature: 7" and 10" with x86 processor architecture, 13.3" and 15.6" with both Arm and x86 architectures. They are added to the previously launched FLEXY VISION 21.5", a SECO Panel PC based on the Intel® Atom™ X Series and Intel® Celeron® J / N Series (formerly Apollo Lake) Processors. All FLEXY VISION monitors include a user-programmable processor, multiple wired and wireless connectivity options, soldered memory, and a multitouch capacitive display.

The x86 HMI monitors incorporate SECO’s SBC-C41-pITX Single Board Computer, which features an integrated Intel® HD Graphics 500 series controller with up to 18 execution units. Connectivity includes dual Gigabit Ethernet, and two M.2 slots for plug in cellular modem (also known as wireless wide area network, or WWAN), and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radio (also known as wireless local area network, or WLAN) cards, and multiple USB ports. SECO’s current four Panel PC monitor size options are: FLEXY VISION 7, 10, 13.3, and 15.6.

For those looking for an Arm based solution, SECO offers the FLEXY VISION 13.3 and FLEXY VISION 15.6. Each incorporates SECO’s SBC-C31 Single Board Computer, powered by the Rockchip RK3399 processor, with 2x Cortex-A72 cores and 4x Cortex-A53 cores, running up to 1.8 GHz. These FLEXY VISION Panel PCs additionally provide cellular communications via a Quectel EG25-G plug-in card. This cellular radio is optimized for mobile-to-mobile (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, providing worldwide 4G (LTE), 3G (UMTS/HSPA+) and 2G (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) coverage. The RK3399 processor integrates a 4-Core Mali-T860MP4 GPU and an embedded VPU that provide HW decoding/encoding of many video compression standards (H.264, VP8, VP9, MPEG-4/MPEG-2/VP8). These FLEXY VISION monitors additionally provide a 4K resolution HDMI interface.

Each FLEXY VISION Panel PC features a sleek and elegant aluminium frame, with panel and VESA bracket mount options. An optional table stand is available. The display can be adjusted for use in both landscape and portrait modes.

SECO is excited to announce these six additions to our FLEXY VISION family of Panel PC products,” said Davide Catani, Chief Technology Officer of SECO S.p.A. “By offering multiple sizes, a choice of processor architectures, and providing a wide range of connectivity, our customers can find an off-the-shelf modular display solution for easy integration with their systems.

Available in a variety of panel sizes and different architectures, the FLEXY VISION family is designed to fill specific HMI application needs with excellent graphics, wide connectivity, and flexibility: from digital signage to infotainment, and from vending to industrial automation.
